This grinder is an incredible value in my opinion. While I haven't had it for long enough to know how durable it is, it produces incredibly consistent grounds for french press and pour over, while also grinding through large amounts of coffee quickly, relatively quietly, and with little static/mess. The only downside is that it doesn't grind too coarse, so the coarsest setting might be a bit too fine for what some people are used to for french press or cold brew. It would be nice if they offered a way to re-calibrate the grinds to make the coarse settings produce more coarse settings, since it makes the finer settings unusable for filter coffee.I have wanted a good coffee burr grinder for a long while now. If you’re looking at good coffee grinders then you know they can be expensive!I settled for this one because it has great reviews on Amazon and YouTube. I am not disappointed with my purchase. In fact, this grinder paired with a pour over basket and a gooseneck kettle has leveled up my coffee game. My mornings are infinitely better since purchasing this grinder.I think this is a great little grinder. It’s not too loud and does a fine job with coarser grinds. I have found anything finer than a 13-15 on its coarseness setting means you’ll have to do a deeper clean after every 2-3rd uses. I’m set at 15 for drip as the finest grind I use and clean now every 5-6th use. One thing that is annoying is that the box for the grinds has a lid with a hole. I find that the hole prevents the grounds from distributing into the container effectively and the last bit get stuck in the shoot and when you remove the container from the grinder it goes everywhere. The grounds container needs the lid to fit snugly into the grinder. Despite this, I find it less haste to simply place the container in w/out the lid and just hold it in for the 30-40 seconds it takes to grind. Small inconvenience for less mess imo. I have not had much static issues if any. Good buy, but there’s probably better for similar or slightly higher cost. We’ll see how it performs long term.I know Seattle Coffee gives this rave reviews, and it might grind beans enough for espresso. But not for me. The grind still too course. And there's too much plastic on the grinder. That bothered me the most.Muy buena compra, lo recomiendo para los que quieren un buen molino de entrada es bueno y cubre nesesidades basicas para un buen cafe, es agradable moler con el. Y no es caro. This thing is a piece of junk. It jammed up and I cleaned it out with a brush and vacuum. Put it back together and it immediately jammed up again. Disassembled and cleaned it out again. Parts are now jammed. I would return it but it's a week past the return period. It's upsetting that a $100 coffee grinder wont make it past forty days. I'm really regretting this purchase.A great moderately price grinder for espresso. Doesn't leave a mess of grinds as other moderately priced grinders do. And the grind is consistentIt worked well for about one month, then the beans stopped feeding into the grinder. After a couple times helping it feed, it stopped feeding altogether. I returned it for a refund and purchased a Binroc which is better designed and lass expensive.
