After learning that ground beans lose much of their quality within 2–3 days (even if we don't immediately notice it, unlike meat, for example), I started grinding only the amount I need daily—typically one mug. A personal grinder is perfect for this purpose. I previously owned this grinder (amazon.com/gp/product/B0998CG44M/), which worked flawlessly for me. Its stainless-steel grinding core and premium build came at almost three times the price of this one. As great and compact as it was, this new grinder impresses me even more.The shorter handle on this model makes it more space-efficient for storage. While this design does require more manual effort to grind (a trade-off because, well, physics), I don't mind—I consider it a bit of exercise. One standout feature is how easily the coarseness of the grind can be adjusted via an external dial, unlike many manual compact grinders. The adjustments are precise, and I'm pleased with the performance of the ceramic grinding core.Speaking of ceramic, it's another plus (as long as it holds up). Ceramic is easier to clean and more resistant to corrosion over time compared to steel. The glass container, though sturdy and thick, lacks helpful quantity markings like my previous grinder had, but this isn't a dealbreaker since I know how much to grind by now.The stainless-steel construction feels durable and reliable overall. My only criticism is the packaging—it could have been better, especially if intended as a gift (check pic). Other than that, this grinder offers excellent value for its quality, especially with the current discount. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and a full score is a no-brainer for me.
