I’m comparing this against the equivalently priced one shown to help. The good:•Peugeot mill is far superior and consistent. Peugeot shows why they are unparalleled in the hand mill industry.•It grinds at about 8x the speed/volume, easily.•It looks more modern and is more compact. It can travel (why I got it)The not so good:•Silver skin static is a real problem because the top is plastic vs the wood•The glass adds an extra step if you’re very tidy•I can tell that the top is quite fragile. However, when you grind the crank torsion isn’t on the lid at all. It’s in the body. So do not put grip with the top when you grind. You don’t even need to click it closed.•The trade off with Peugeot’s far superior grind is it is twice as hard to crank.I am not a fan of the plastic as it is the root of virtually all the listed negatives. Would totally buy it again, however.
