Grinds anything to a nice powder consistency. My first one lasted almost 10 years grinding anything and everything I threw at it including corn, wheat berries, flax seed, coffee, nutmeg seeds, cloves and it turned it to a consistent flour textured powder in less than 30 seconds. My only complaint is the switch, its so easy to get ingredients into the action filling the mill. If there was a way to re-work it so the switch was protected while filling it’d be perfect. I did recently replace the original and it seems the only change is that the power cord is longer and its nearly doubled in price but still worth every penny. Good design, great quality.
