It was easy to use. Just need to adjust the time to the desired consistency and how fine you want your seeds/herbs ground.I am very happy with this product but only gave it 4 stars because of some features that weren't clearly represented and surprised me.1) The product comes without a user manual. While there is a video on how to put this and that into it, I found those came already put into the machine so I didn't need to add them2) The instruction on how much to put inside, how to close the lid, etc., would have been important but are missing3) Once you figure out how to close it, whatever you grind in it will be very fine but will be stuck in clumps on the surface from the heat4) The machine gets extremely hot and so one of the things I was hoping to grind, for example, was unsweetened baking chocolate. But that clearly wouldn't work! It would totally melt in it.5) Extremely difficult to clean it! You literally would have to take it apart completely to clean it fully. So use it only for dry goods and never anything that would need to be washed with hot water and detergent. That's not possible.The grinder will grind 2lb of grain in 10 seconds. In my opinion you can't beat the performance of the 2000 gram size. The only negative I found, was it will get to hot and shut down, if you try to go to fast. This is not a serious problem, just push the reset button after it cools off a bit. I would buy a bigger one if it was available. It does make some noise, but not so bad you can't stand it. I would buy it again.Lacks all safety. You leave the top off and the sucker will start! I love my hands and believe it’s worth having that feature alone when I’m being complacent. The buttons are sloppy. I was not sure if I pushed the dang thing on until a couple seconds later it sounded like a tornado took off on the counter.It’s really loud. Almost worth wearing ear plugs.The powder will knock your nose to next week on the run fest. I don’t know if a filter would be useful but the cloud of dust is unbearable. I had to open two windows! Mask up!It’s horrible to clean. You can’t just tip the dang thing over and spray it out with water. Trust me, I tried. Water shot out the bottom. Which means there’s no seal on the bottom. Leaves me to believe this is where the powder escapes from. If you have to take this apart, I’m not down with that.The one this I don't like is the safety of the device. No E-Stop or Easy way to stop power. If the PCB malfunctioned your hand will be gone. Needs a 2pole disconnect switch addedThis machine lifted a great burden from my shoulders, when I purchased one and tried it. The machine ground my stuff within 60 seconds. I grounded green plantain husks, and some 2 different kinds of roots from Africa.I have been thinking of how to grind these herbs, but that headache is now gone.I would recommend the APWONE 1000gram Electric Grain Mills Grinder to anyone who does lots of grinding in the kitchen.
