The lens will offer some protection but only limited.The shield offers great visibility and is basically the same size as the original equipment.If you need shields this is a fantastic buy!The brackets two large for the bench grinder HousingThe product is a little on the light weight side, but will meet the requirements.I bought two sets of these guards. They didn't even come in a cardboard box, just a little bubble wrap envelope. One set was fine, the other set had one broken one (probably from the cheap packaging). They are super light duty even compared to the light duty ones that come stock on most cheap bench grinders and the mounts look like they're made out of old pop cans.
