I bought this coffee grinder not actually to grind coffee, but to grind my chia seeds. Previously I had been using a mortar and pestle and honestly it was just getting annoying.I cannot stress how much I love this thing. Before it would take me 5+ minutes to grind down my chia seeds and this thing does it in literal seconds. Not to mention it grinds it far finer than I ever could. I am simply amazed.Pros:Strength: 5/5This thing boasts a 150 watt motor and it shows. Half of the product is actually the motor the other half is the grinding volume. It literally turns my chia seeds into powder in seconds. I am very impressed with how well it works.Durability: 5/5Can't complain so far. I feel like even if I dropped it it would be fine. The housing feels very durable and it's all metal besides the lid which is plastic. Good stuff.Capacity: 4/5It's perfect for my needs as I only blend up an ounce of chia seeds at a time, but this thing is not very large. You also cannot fill it fully. There is a mark for max fill which I assume would make it grind less effectively if you overfilled it. If you're planning on grinding a ton of coffee you might want to check the capacity limit. That being said it works perfectly for my needs so I'm not complaining at all. I'm glad it doesn't take up more space than I require.Cons: My only gripe with it is that the lid does not lock onto the unit. To operate the unit you press down on the lid and it grinds up the contents, but the lid does not lock in. This makes storage a little less convenient because you can knock the lid off. Not a huge deal, but not ideal for me.Overall: 4.7/5I love it. The lid doesn't lock on as I said, but everything other than that is absolutely perfect for me. I love this thing and use it every day. Very impressed with it and would highly recommend it to others looking to grind chia/flax/coffee or spices. I'm pretty sure it would do the job with whatever your grinding needs are.
